Grotto Classes is proud to be partnering with Dave Eggers’ Scholar Match, an organization which uses crowd-funding to help send underprivileged students to college.

We have chosen Ashley Ornelas to be our Grotto Scholar.  In her essay for Scholar Match, Ashley wrote about “falling in love with words.”

We are asking every student who registers for a class to donate at least $10 to Ashley’s college fund. To  donate, click here and answer the question ‘I would like my tax-deductible donation to support:’ by choosing Student Scholarship. Then type ‘Grotto Scholar‘ in the box that asks you to provide guidelines about the type of student you’d like to support.

Within a day or so of donating, your name will appear on the Grotto Sponsor Page of the Scholar Match website.
