Description: Writing a non-fiction proposal? The good news is that you don’t have to finish your whole book before querying agents. You just need a killer book proposal…and a killer idea. In this class, we’ll refine your book idea, break down the essential components of a marketable book proposal into a series of manageable steps, and look at examples of other proposals that sold to see what made them work. We’ll also cover the basics of query letter writing. By the end of our six week sessions you will have a marketable nonfiction book proposal package ready to send out to agents, including a query letter and the beginnings of a sample chapter.
