Description: Over on the other side of the bay there’s a magical group of people versed in the art of inspiration. They call themselves the Office of Letters and Light, and they put on an annual event that challenges anyone to write a screenplay (or 100 pages of it) during the month of April. There are no prizes per se, but there are online resources and of course bragging rights. http://scriptfrenzy.org/
For those up for the challenge of an intensive month of screenwriting but interested in more personal resources, advice, encouragement and camaraderie, there is now the Grotto Script Frenzy Workshop. Xandra will guide a group of writers who will meet once a week to read and discuss our screenplays and stumbling blocks, and will send each writer a daily prompt during the month of April.
