Many publishers and agents want writers to have a social media “platform,” but to many, Twitter can feel like confusing, chirping chaos. For those who have no idea what “re-tweeting” is, and can’t tell a hashtag from a hash brown, this fun, hands-on, fast-paced class will give you all the tools you need to start dipping into the Twittersphere. You’ll learn why Twitter can benefit your writing life as well as the essential “how-to’s”. At the end of the workshop, you’ll even have amassed a number of followers! An online, follow-up “tweetup” (Twitter meet-up) will be held approximately one week after the class to answer questions and learn more advanced skills.
